Safe Sanctuary
The theme for this Sunday is Safe Sanctuary, which will be used as a "teachable moment" for the congregation on what our new Safe Sanctuary policy is and why we need it. Hibben's policy will be fully implemented by Dec.31, 2008 as mandated by the SC Annual Conference.

The Pumpkin Patch Figures Are In
The United Methodist Men are pleased to report that this year’s Pumpkin Patch was, once again, a success. Total sales exceeded $21,000 with the UMM realizing a profit of approximately $7,800. This money will be used to help support missions within the church, as well as organizations such as Epworth Children’s Home and Windwood Farms. To all who volunteered their time and purchased pumpkins, we thank you. The Pumpkin Patch would not have been as successful without your support.

Here's some great Pumpkin Patch photos provided by Steve Cowart.
