Exciting New Opportunity for Tithes and Offerings - Bank Draft Service

Many Hibben members asked if there is a way to have your Tithes and Offerings taken directly from a checking account via Electronic Funds Transfer.

The Methodist Church General Council on Finance and Administration says that drafting an account is acceptable, and recommends that we use Vanco Services as a provider. Vanco's prices for this service are very low, and their service appears to be easy to use. Accordingly, Hibben's Finance Committee voted to sign a contract with Vanco, and offer this service to you.

Please consider whether you will take advantage of the Bank Draft Service - if so, please fill out the authorization form (available online as a PDF document on our Publications & Forms page), attach a check or deposit slip, and either put it in the Offering plate or mail it to the church office. The authorization form is also available in the office.

Some Points on the Bank Draft Service:

• It costs the Church only $0.50 to set up a new person, and $0.25 per draft.
• If you would like to, you can increase your contribution from what you planned to cover the $0.25
• If you need to change or omit a planned contribution, a simple call or email to the Church office will do it.
• Drafting will go a long ways towards smoothing out our current Summer shortfall, as folks travel.
