Mission Statement
9-1-2009
To provide and implement an up-to-date vision and action plan to help older adults develop their full potential for making disciples for Jesus Christ and for witnessing to God’s grace in their lives through such activities as (a) regularly scheduled fellowship lunches. usually in conjunction with speakers, entertainment or other programs: day trips to local and regional events and points of interest; going out to dinner followed by attending plays at a local theater and working together on projects instituted by other groups within the church; and (b) promoting participation in such events as out-of-area church-related retreats and convocations.
Overview
The Primetimers plan exciting activities for adults of all ages that take advantage of South Carolina's abounding attractions, including progressive dinners, luncheons, community events, day-trips, and week-end trips.
The Primetimers meet at Hibben in the CLLC for lunch and often a program or other activity on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Some lunches will be covered dish, some will be catered, some will not. Programs will vary depending on who and what they can schedule. At the very least, Primetimers will get together for fellowship and to catch up on the latest news around Hibben. Watch your bulletins and eNewsletter for news about each month’s program.
