Welcome to Hibben's Youth Page
If you’re a 7th – 12th grader and you’re not actively involved in Hibben’s youth ministry…YOU’RE MISSING OUT! What could be better than meeting new friends, playing fun games, taking amazing trips, eating, laughing, learning, and growing?
The United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) is designed for youth 7th -12th grades. We meet each Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Christian Life and Learning Center and we’d love for you to join us!
Each UMYF meeting includes dinner, games, and a lesson or Bible study. In addition to traditional Bible study, we examine social issues like environmentalism, dating violence, busyness, parent/sibling/friend relationships, encouragement, and more - all in a Biblical context. UMYF meetings are a great chance to hang out with other teens in a fun, inclusive environment.
But it doesn’t stop there. We also take the show on the road for mission projects, trips, retreats and other outings. Our activities are designed to strengthen relationships and to bring the Bible to life for you so you can develop your Christian walk now.
Want proof of all the fun we’re having? Check out the youth blog, H.Y.P.E.R. (Hibben Youth and Parent Event Report) at www.hibbenhyper.blogspot.com.
So what are you waiting for? We’re a community of youth and adults who are eager to support you in your Christian walk, and we can’t wait to meet you!
